Infinite Water Source

 A useful tool for farming and cultivation in Survival Mode is an infinite water source. This is a cheap utility that can take hours out of fetching buckets of water to fill up your farm basins. This tool allows you to designate a certain point in which water will spawn.



The Materials You Will Need

 "Craftable" Items:
-shovel [of any kind]
-bucket

Materials Necessary for Completion:
-2 sticks
-1 tool material
-3 iron ingots
-2 natural water sources

Space Required: 3 x 1

Step I: You will need to use your shovel to dig a 3 block x 1 block trench in any space you want.

Step II: Fill your bucket using a natural water source. Empty the bucket in the left-most hole in your trench.

 Step III: Fill your bucket again, using any natural water source, and then empty it into the right-most hole in your trench.

After the bucket is emptied in both spots, the water should level ut and become stagnant. If you use your bucket on the CENTER block, it will fill your bucket, and the left and right side will fill the gap and level out once again. No longer do you have to mine or hike for miles looking for water.

Farm Utility

Are you tired of your farms looking like this?

If you are a true survivalist, you are most likely annoyed to fit your farm around a lake's schedule. This is an easy, two-step solution to solving that problem.







Step 1: You will need the following resources:
-16 dirt per column
-16 seeds per column
-2 sticks
-2 tool materials
-3 iron ingots
Crafting
-2 sticks + 2 tool materials = 1 hoe
-iron ingots = 1 bucket


Step 2: Build the plot
1) Build two rows of 7 [DIRT] with one row of space between them.
2) Close each end off with one piece of dirt.
3) Use the bucket to fill the gap with water
        - recommended: create an infinite water source to make filling the gap easier
4) Use the hoe to plow the dirt
5) place the seeds in the dirt
6) Option A: Wait for the crops to go
    Option B: Use bone meal to accelerate the growth of the wheat

Mob Trap

Are you annoyed that you cannot seem to keep all of the annoying mobs out of your house? Have one too many creepers blown up the precious things you value most in your miserable, virtual life!!?? Well there is a solution: the mob trap. The mob trap is a narrow trench dug around your house that prevents the entrance of mobs. This is a tutorial on how to build it.

Step 1: Build Yourself A Shelter

This shelter will have to be your final size, because the mo trap will encompass your base.









Step 2: Craft A Shovel
Recommended: Stone or Better

This [SHOVEL] is recommended to have a higher durability, for, a lot of digging is required to complete this trap.








Step 3: Dig a 6 block deep pit around the perimeter of your base.

6 blocks is the recommended height because most spiders won't try and pursue you from this much of a height.







Optional Step 4: Input a ladder

If you install a ladder into your mob pit, you will be able to pick up all of the drops. =)
